What conformance means

C2PA does not certify companies. The C2PA Conformance Program assesses a product and, when it meets the specification, declares it conformant and lists it publicly. Anyone can check the listing: look us up in the C2PA Conformance Explorer. Our record is 01a10a3f-780a-7cb4-bcf4-8992db217cb9.

Content Credentials

Content Credentials are the open C2PA standard for showing where digital content comes from. The credential travels inside the file. It states that an image was made with AI and records what our studio did to it.

Next, every AI image we deliver will carry Content Credentials: a signed record, inside the file, that the image was made with AI and what our studio did to it. It is how we meet the machine-readable marking that Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires of AI providers. Whether you also need a visible label for shoppers depends on how you use each image, and we are happy to help you decide.

How a signed image is made

01Generated. Model output. When the model that generated the image leaves its own credential, we verify it first.
02Darkroom. Sixteen quality gates. Retouching, upscaling and format changes are recorded.
03Signed. By PixPax. Our certificate, issued to Pixmine AB, plus a trusted timestamp.
04Delivered. Your PIM, DAM or shop. The credential stays inside the file wherever it goes.

Your own product photos and other files that are not AI-generated are not signed. The credential is about the AI image, not about every file we touch.

Keys and security

Our claim-signing key is held only by the service that signs deliveries, and every signature carries a trusted timestamp. If you find a vulnerability that affects our signing, report it to [email protected]; see our security page.
